Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) following safety protocols
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary advice
- Assess patient oral health status and document findings accurately in dental records
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with professionalism and efficiency
- Provide post-treatment instructions to patients clearly and compassionately
- Maintain sterilization standards and ensure all dental tools are properly sanitized and prepared for use
Requirements
- Valid state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
- Excellent communication skills to educate and reassure patients of all ages
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Pay: $52.60 - $54.67 per hour
