Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through treatment plans and scheduling appointments with enthusiasm.
Manage patient records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with health regulation policies.
Coordinate with dental providers to facilitate treatment procedures, follow-up appointments, and billing processes efficiently.
Communicate clearly with patients via phone, text, and email to answer questions, explain treatment options, discuss and collect co-pays, and confirm appointments.
Support medical administrative tasks such as verifying insurance coverage, processing payments, and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
Utilize patient management software to track treatment progress, update records, and generate reports for the dental team.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns promptly and professionally while maintaining a positive office atmosphere.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly preferred; strong office experience is essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes.
Knowledge of health regulation policies related to patient privacy and confidentiality (such as HIPAA compliance).
Familiarity with dental terminology is required.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person.
Understanding of dental insurance processes and coverage verification procedures.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Typing skills that support quick data entry and accurate record keeping are necessary.
