The Role
We are seeking a Biofilm Therapist & Oral Health Coach—a licensed dental hygienist who is ready to move beyond traditional hygiene and step into a wellness-centered, patient-guided care model.
This role is ideal for someone who:

You will play a key role in delivering our Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT)-based hygiene experience, while helping patients understand their health in a deeper, more meaningful way.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care (GBT-Focused)
- Deliver hygiene care using Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) principles: disclosure → airflow/perioflow → reassessment → selective instrumentation
- Utilize tools such as Airflow, Perioflow, ultrasonic scaling, and hand instrumentation appropriately
- Provide individualized, risk-based care aligned with the Hygiene Heaven philosophy:right tool, right time
Patient Coaching & Education
- Serve as an Oral Health Coach, guiding patients through their wellness journey
- Educate on the connection between oral health, inflammation, and overall systemic health
- Support patients in building sustainable, at-home care routines
- Create a safe, judgment-free space for patients—meeting them where they are
Wellness Integration
- Be open to learning and incorporating wellness modalities such as:
- Ozone therapy
- Laser-assisted hygiene
- Salivary diagnostics and preventive therapies
- Collaborate with the team to elevate hygiene beyond “just a cleaning”
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with doctors and team members to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Contribute to a culture of growth, education, and excellence
- Support the overall mission and evolution of Hygiene Heaven
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of Texas
- Minimum 2+ years of clinical hygiene experience
- Experience providing routine preventive and periodontal care
- Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Preferred:
- Interest in Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT)
- Certification in local anesthesia (preferred) and/or Nitrous Monitoring Certified
- Experience or certification in laser dentistry and/or understanding of Ozone Therapy
- Passion for prevention-first, wellness-centered care
- Comfortable working in an environment that patient comfort methodologies are practiced (i.e aromatheraphy).

Compensation & Schedule
- Part-Time and Full-Time Positions Available
- $55+/hour, based on experience and certifications
