About Us

Memorial Children's Dentistry is a busy pediatric dental practice in Houston. Our close-knit team of about 10 people works hard, supports each other, and takes pride in an office that runs smoothly.

The Role

We need an experienced front desk and insurance coordinator who can manage the full revenue cycle in Open Dental, from verifying insurance through presenting treatment, submitting claims, posting EOBs, and resolving outstanding AR. You will often be the first and last person our families see, so we want someone who is accurate with numbers and warm with people.

This is not an entry-level position. Only applicants with hands-on dental insurance and billing experience will be considered.

Track outstanding claims and follow up with carriers on unpaid, denied, or underpaid claims
Resubmit or appeal claims when needed
Post insurance payments and EOBs accurately, including partial payments, adjustments, and write-offs
Manage and work the insurance and patient AR reports so balances stay current

Treatment Plans & Financial Communication

Present treatment plans to parents and explain estimated insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs
Follow up on pending and unscheduled treatment to get patients on the schedule
Calculate and collect the correct patient copay or estimated portion at the time of service
Discuss balances and payment options with parents professionally and kindly

Front Desk

Greet patients and families and make them feel welcome
