Practice Manager of Operations (PMO) – Bay Area Orthodontics

Are you ready to lead a team and help grow an orthodontic practice?

We’re looking for a leader who wants real autonomy, with the support behind them to grow a business where the only limit is your ability. The goal: triple the practice in 3 years. The pay reflects that: a strong base plus generous profit sharing tied directly to results.

You might be a fit if:

You have a track record of growing a business and leading a team
You want ownership-style upside. Coming from tech, hospitality, or retail? Even better.
You’re obsessed with creating an exceptional customer and patient experience
You run on numbers and know how to move them
You’re confident making decisions, solving problems, and taking ownership
You know how to motivate a team and hold people accountable
Dental experience helps but isn't required. We'll teach you ortho. We can't teach leadership.

The patients and team are great. They just need a leader.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

Oversee the daily operations of the orthodontic practice
Lead, coach, and support the administrative and clinical team
Manage staff scheduling, patient flow, and office efficiency
Oversee patient scheduling, follow-up, and the overall patient experience
Work closely with the orthodontist to coordinate patient care and treatment
Handle patient concerns and resolve issues professionally
Oversee billing, insurance, and financial processes
Monitor practice performance, inventory, and operational needs
Conduct team meetings, training, and performance evaluations
Identify opportunities to improve systems, efficiency, and practice growth
Maintain compliance with office policies, HIPAA, and applicable regulations
Work with vendors and outside partners as needed

What We're Looking For:

Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent organization and time-management abilities
Experience with practice management software and EHR systems
Knowledge of dental/orthodontic billing and insurance
Ability to lead a team while creating a positive and accountable culture
A results-driven mindset with a focus on growth and continuous improvement
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is preferred, but not required

The Opportunity

This is a full-time, in-person position in Sunnyvale, CA for someone who wants to be more than a manager — someone who wants to lead, improve, and grow a practice.

This role offers significant earning potential beyond the base salary. If agreed-upon practice growth and performance targets are met, the profit-sharing opportunity could potentially double your total annual compensation. Your success is directly tied to the success and growth of the practice.
