Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) who shares our commitment to high-quality care and patient education. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a gentle touch and strong clinical knowledge, especially in periodontal therapy and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care including prophylaxis, periodontal scaling and root planing, and maintenance.
Conduct oral health assessments and educate patients on proper home care techniques and preventive strategies.
Use the itero scanner to show patients the health and condition of their dentition.
Collaborate with the dentist to develop and implement individualized periodontal treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in patient records.
Take and interpret digital X-rays as needed.
Foster a welcoming and calming environment for patients of all ages.

Qualifications:

Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in VA
CPR certification.
Strong knowledge of periodontal care and disease management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for patient care and oral health education.
Experience with Dentrix software and digital scanning is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $49.20 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
