Job Description:

We are seeking qualified Registered Dental Assistants (RDA) to provide essential dental services within California correctional facilities. The ideal candidate will have recent, hands-on experience in dental settings and be passionate about providing quality care to underserved populations.

Qualifications:

Minimum 36 continuous months of experience within the last 5 years as a Dental Assistant in a public or private institution/facility (internships do not count).
Must possess valid California RDA license and required certifications.
Proficient in spoken and written English; must be able to communicate effectively with patients and correctional staff.
Must pass background clearance for work in correctional settings.

Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Supervising Dentist, Supervising Dental Assistant, or Dental Health Program Manager III, duties will include:

Assisting with routine and emergency dental procedures.
Preparing patients for treatment and maintaining accurate records.
Sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean, safe clinic environment.
Performing duties in accordance with Sections 1740-1777 of the California Dental Practice Act.

Must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and high attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
