Brush Kids Dentistry

We are currently seeking one full-time dental assistant to work at our Lawrenceburg, KY location.

Qualifications:

Previous dental assisting experience preferred
Must be a self-starter and highly organized
Must have great communication skills and be able to stop talking and concentrate on the patient while taking and making notes during the treatment process
Must have a positive attitude and be CHILD friendly
MUST have coronal Polishing and radiology cert.
Comfortable with working with children
happy, upbeat, and friendly

Responsibilities:
·Taking and recording medical history and vital signs
·Taking blood pressure in patients who are able to sit while receiving dental treatment
·Assisting dentists with the sterilization of instruments
·Disposing of waste materials in appropriate places, following all safety procedures
·Taking X-rays, taking impressions, applying ointments etc. as needed
·Providing oral hygiene training for patients
·Assisting dentists with preparing teeth for oral treatment using various sterilization techniques.
·Maintaining full health & safety awareness training for the entire clinic & patients
·Completing all duties assigned by supervising dentist including lab work, filling prescriptions, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
