Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a comfortable experience for our patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral health, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality general and pediatric dentistry services.

Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations.
Provide professional dental cleanings, including SRP, polishing, sealants, radiographs, and fluoride treatments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the management of patient records using EagleSoft software.
Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Maintain a clean and organized dental clinic environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Support pediatric dentistry efforts by making children feel comfortable during their visits.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and medical terminology.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience in a dental office setting preferred; familiarity with general dentistry practices is essential.
Proficiency in using EagleSoft or similar dental software is highly desirable.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and education in the field of dental hygiene.
