Schedule: Full time

Pay: $44,868 - $50,345 per year

Location: Camp Friendship in Annandale, MN

How You'll Contribute:

Select, train, and mentor departmental staff
Provide leadership and supervision to Retreat, Foodservice, and Housekeeping teams, including performance management
Schedule and manage the day-to-day operations for Housekeeping and Retreats
Lead day-to-day kitchen operations including food preparation and service execution
Assume MDH Person in Charge responsibilities
Take direction from the Director of Food and Beverage for menus, special dietary accommodations, staff scheduling, and general food service operations
Work directly with individuals and group leaders to plan events and provide support before, during, and after their stay
Collaborate with internal departments (Foodservice, Facilities, etc.) to coordinate guest needs
Communicate updates and needs to supervisor
Lead guest experience initiatives
Develop and manage Camping Together relationships at designated location
Provide hosting as well as on-call leadership for Retreat groups
Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring to the Table:

Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field, or a combination of education and experience
2+ years customer service experience
2+ years of supervisory experience
Must have or be willing to acquire MN Department of Health Food Managers License
Previous cooking/kitchen experience required
Experience with large quantity cooking and special diets desirable
Experience with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Must be organized with good time management skills
Able to pass organizational background study
