Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental office systems and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with dental software such as Eaglesoft is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as required.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience in a dental office or clinic setting preferred, with a focus on general dentistry.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Proficiency in using dental software systems, particularly Eaglesoft, is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and communication.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is beneficial.

Pay: $42.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
