Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings and scaling procedures using appropriate techniques.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the documentation of patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize EMR systems for accurate record-keeping and documentation review.
Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, supporting the dentist as needed.
Maintain infection control protocols and adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Stay updated on dental terminology, medical coding, and advancements in pediatric dentistry.

As a registered dental hygienist, you need to have a current state license. You will have a desire to always be learning and want to stay on top of the latest technology. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
