Responsibilities:
- check-in patients, ensuring a positive and friendly experience
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinating with other departments as needed
- Collect and verify patient insurance information

-Submitting, tracking, and follow up on prior authorizations

-Solicit referrals from patients after treatment while at the same time tracking patient satisfaction

-Tracking of all outstanding treatment plans
- Explain treatment plans, and financial options, and answer any questions or concerns
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Coordinate referrals to specialists as necessary
- Manage the front desk area, including answering phone calls and directing visitors

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a dental or medical office setting is preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of insurance billing processes is a plus
