What We Are Looking For: Experienced Treatment Coordinator

Responsibilities:

Present and review treatment plans with patients, factoring in dental insurance benefits and financial options
Confidently discuss and arrange financial agreements, including processing payments and managing patient balances and credits
Coordinate treatment sequencing and scheduling to optimize patient care and provider efficiency
Verify insurance benefits, and communicate coverage estimates to patients
Navigate EMR/dental practice management software (Dentrix preferred) and maintain accurate patient records
Ensure HIPAA compliance and uphold patient privacy standards
Manage patient and referral communication by phone, text, email, and in person with professionalism and empathy
Support office efficiency by anticipating needs, resolving issues proactively, and mentoring less experienced team members

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a dental office, specifically in treatment coordination
Proficiency with EMR/dental practice management software and Microsoft Office applications
Strong communication, presentation, and case acceptance skills
Experience discussing finances and dental insurance with patients
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Professional, poised, and self-motivated with a cheerful demeanor
