Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Dental Assistant / Front Desk Coordinator to join our vibrant dental team. This dual-role position offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional patient care while managing front office operations seamlessly. As a key member of our clinic, you will assist with chairside procedures, ensure accurate medical and dental documentation, and create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages. Duties

Assist dentists during various procedures, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency.
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control standards are maintained.
Take and develop X-rays, accurately documenting findings in patient charts and/ or Dentrix.
Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and handling patient inquiries with professionalism.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining confidentiality of medical records and documentation.
Coordinate with the clinical team to facilitate smooth patient flow and ensure all medical documentation is accurate and complete.

Requirements

Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques.
Proficiency in Dentrix
Certification in X-ray procedures and knowledge of dental assisting practices including chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical coding, and dental records management.
Excellent communication skills as a dental receptionist combined with the ability to multitask efficiently.

Pay: $23.53 - $28.34 per hour
