About us

We're an established, high-volume general and implant dental practice in Jamaica, Queens, serving a diverse community. A large portion of our patients are Spanish-speaking. Our team is busy, and we need a manager who can keep the day running without being told what to do next.

Compensation and benefits

$60,000 base salary
Monthly commission tied to office production and collections - uncapped, and this is where the real earning is. A manager who runs the office well will clear $100,000. Our previous manager earned close to $120,000 annually.

What you'll own

Daily operations of the front and back office - you are the person the team goes to
Treatment presentation and financial arrangements: walking patients through their treatment plan, what insurance covers, what they owe, and closing the case
Insurance verification, claims submission, follow-up on aging, and resolving denials
Schedule management: filling openings, controlling no-shows and cancellations, keeping providers productive every hour
Staff scheduling, so every shift is properly covered
Supervising, training, and holding staff accountable in a firm, professional, respectful way
Enforcing office systems and protocols, including HIPAA and OSHA compliance
Reporting daily and monthly production, collections, and key numbers to the owner

What we're looking for

At least 1 year managing or leading a dental office (2+ preferred). Dental experience is required, this is not a general medical or hospital administration role.
Spanish-speaking strongly preferred. A large share of our patients speak Spanish, and the manager needs to discuss treatment and finances with them directly.
Working knowledge of CDT coding and dental insurance: PPO and Medicaid plans, fee schedules, breakdowns, pre-authorizations, and appeals
Open Dental experience preferred. Experience with another practice management system is fine if you can learn quickly.
Comfortable presenting treatment and discussing money with patients, this is a real part of the job, not an occasional task
Chairside dental assisting knowledge, so you can step in when the office is short-handed
Reliable, honest, and consistent. We're looking for someone who shows up, follows through, and can be trusted with money, scheduling, and confidential patient information.
