Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthodontist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, preventing, and treating dental and facial irregularities. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team of dental professionals. The Orthodontist will utilize advanced techniques and technologies to provide high-quality orthodontic treatment to patients of all ages.

Duties

Conduct thorough examinations of patients' teeth, jaws, and facial structure to determine orthodontic needs.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and diagnostic records.
Utilize braces, retainers, and other orthodontic appliances to correct misaligned teeth and jaws.
Monitor patient progress throughout treatment and make necessary adjustments.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments using Dentrix or Eaglesoft software.
Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices during orthodontic treatment.
Collaborate with other dental specialists, including Prosthodontists and Endodontists, as needed for comprehensive patient care.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in orthodontics and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Skills

Proficiency in Four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Strong knowledge of Medical terminology related to dental practices.
Experience with Medical documentation practices to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles for treating younger patients effectively.
Competence in performing Dental extractions when necessary as part of orthodontic treatment plans.
Ability to interpret medical records accurately for informed decision-making in patient care.
Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families.
