Woodford Dental is a busy father-son dental practice that services a mix of both insurance and self-pay patients from Madison and the surrounding shoreline towns. We are looking for a hygienist to expand our ability to see recall patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including routine prophylaxis, scaling and root planings, taking x-rays, and applying fluoride treatments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care
- Assist the staff with processing and sterilizing dental instruments
- Maintain accurate patient records using cloud-based dental software
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive dental care
Requirements:
- Valid dental hygiene license in the state of CT
- Proficiency in using computer-based dental software
- Knowledge of dental coding and billing procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and dental team members
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced dental office environment
