We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant with Receptionist experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced dental office environment. This role requires strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle various responsibilities efficiently.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process.
Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar effectively.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist with insurance verification and billing inquiries.
Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally.
Manage medical records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
Support dental staff with administrative tasks as needed.
Utilize dental software systems such as Open Dental for patient management.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized reception area.

Skills

Proficiency in managing medical records and understanding HIPAA compliance.
Familiarity with dental software systems, particularly Open dental.
Knowledge of vital signs, four-handed dentistry, and aseptic techniques is a plus.
Experience with medical imaging and prosthodontics is advantageous.
Ability to operate 3D scanners and familiarity with Epic software is desirable.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining professionalism.
