Northern Oral Surgery & Implant Center's practice is growing and we're excited to add a new position. We are looking for an experienced insurance billing specialist!

Primary duties:

Navigate multiple different insurance sites to verify patient information and eligibility.
Answer patient phone calls and assist with billing and insurance questions.
Resolve billing issues with insurance carriers and resubmit claims as needed.
Investigate and help resolve unpaid claims and denials.
This position will also provide back-up front desk support periodically .
Process insurance pre-estimates and denials.
Enter insurance payments.

Qualifications:

Medical office experience in a physician’s office or equivalent combination of training and experience

Dental or Medical office experience. Minimum of 1 year dental and or medical billing experience or education required, 3 years preferred (prior medical billing experience preferred.)
Must be self-motivated, independent, organized and have a strong attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and contribute as a positive team player is also required.
