Job Description:
The Material Handler role is an entry-level position responsible for supporting production warehouse operations. Key duties include moving cases, crates, and materials throughout the facility using hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment. This position also involves loading and unloading materials from storage areas, preparing and packaging orders for shipment, and storing items in designated warehouse locations. This position is required to be on-site full-time and reports directly to the Materials Planning Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute product location changes within Oracle, including sub-inventory transfers and move orders.
- Physically relocate products to designated storage or work areas.
- Update and maintain work order details in Oracle as needed.
- Perform Work-in-Progress (WIP) material transactions accurately.
- Support inventory control activities, including conducting cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in alignment with 5S and safety standards.
- Prepare shipments and drums for maquiladora operations.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping requirements and documentation.
- Transport products and materials to and from other sites as required.
- Maintain and update the daily management board to reflect current operations.
- Develop, document, and sustain standard operating procedures for the area.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications:
- Education/Work Experience:
- HS Diploma/GED and 1 year of related work experience (shipping/receiving, distribution, logistics, etc.) or
- 2 years of related work experience or
- 4 years of work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Demonstrates strong English communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking
- Possesses effective interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams
- Exhibits strong organizational abilities to manage tasks efficiently
- Manages time effectively and responds with a strong sense of urgency
Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow instructions and guidelines set forth by the area Lead/ supervisor
- Ability to use a pallet jack or dolly
- Basic knowledge of weight scales, measurements and mathematical skills
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to learn and utilize computer for standard applications including work processing, spreadsheet and database applications
- Proficiency in Oracle and/or Microsoft Office suite

- Working hours and shifts will vary and are dependent upon the work cycles of production operations as required by business needs.
- As needed, overtime will be required which includes; peak operations such as Physical Inventory, etc.

- Due to the nature of product contents, careful handling and compliance to procedure is required
- Ability to stand and or sit for long periods of time as required by work schedule.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Target Market Salary Range:

The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
$16.90 – $22.80 per hour
