Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting, and administrative support, particularly within a dental office environment. This role is essential for ensuring smooth operations at the front desk, managing patient interactions, and assisting in procedures.

Duties

Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring excellent patient service.
Dental assisting with procedures.
Sterilization of instruments, Cleaning operatories.
Manage multi-line phone systems, handling incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and responding to inquiries.
Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including documentation review and filing.
Utilize Electronic Health Record (Dentrix).
Provide clerical support including typing correspondence, managing office supplies, and maintaining cleanliness at the front desk area.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and address any concerns that arise during appointments.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental office role is preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology, dental terminology, and health information management is essential.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation and record keeping.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances communication with diverse patient populations. Spanish speaking is required.
