Garland Davis, DDS is a privately-owned, high-performing dental practice committed to serving 10,000 patients a year through clinical excellence, integrity, and clear communication. We are hiring a Treatment Coordinator with proven experience in case presentation, follow-up, and patient communication—someone who understands the critical role this position plays in both patient outcomes and practice growth.

This role can be performed remotely (1099 contractor) or as a hybrid position (W2 employee) for those within commuting distance of our office in Laurel, MD.

What You’ll Do

Present treatment plans with confidence, clarity, and empathy
Guide patients through clinical and financial decision-making
Follow up on unscheduled or pending cases, building rapport and addressing hesitations
Discuss payment options, insurance benefits, and financial arrangements
Document patient interactions and financial approvals accurately
Schedule treatment within our “Perfect Day Template” to support office goals
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams for seamless case management
Communicate consistently across multiple channels (phone, text, email, video)

What You’ll Offer

Minimum 5 years of experience in general dentistry (required)
Demonstrated success in treatment coordination, case acceptance, and patient education
Strong communication and follow-up skills with emotional intelligence
Ability to manage a high volume of open cases and track next steps
Proficiency with dental software, patient portals, and financial tools
Confidence in presenting costs, discussing benefits, and overcoming objections
Reliable internet, tech-savviness, and camera-readiness for virtual interactions
A warm, professional, and detail-oriented presence
Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred
Dental assisting experience is a plus, but not required

Position Details

Remote (1099 Contractor)

Work from home with flexibility during business hours
$25–$35/hr based on experience
4% performance-based bonus on total office collections

Hybrid (W2 Employee)

2–3 days per week in our Laurel, MD office

About Our Practice

We are an 8-operatory general dentistry practice with over 9,500 active patients. As a fee-for-service office, we do not participate in Medicaid or HMO plans. We are in-network with only three PPOs and operate with a focus on quality, results, and long-term relationships.
