We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical management, practice management, and supervisory roles within a dental or medical setting. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to manage both staff and fiscal responsibilities effectively.

Duties

Oversee the daily operations of the dental office, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
Supervise and train office staff, including receptionists and dental assistants, to maintain a professional and productive environment.
Manage patient scheduling, billing, and insurance claims processing to ensure smooth administrative operations.
Implement and maintain office policies and procedures that comply with regulatory standards and best practices in dental care.
Coordinate with dental professionals to ensure effective communication regarding patient treatment plans and office protocols.
Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to avoid shortages.
Maintain accurate patient records using practice management software such as Epic or similar systems.
Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss performance, address concerns, and promote team collaboration.

Qualifications

Proven experience in medical management or practice management within a dental or healthcare setting is preferred.
Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
Familiarity with dental clinic operations, including scheduling, billing, and insurance processes.
Background in critical care or nursing is a plus but not mandatory.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for fiscal management tasks.
Proficient in using practice management software; experience with Epic is advantageous.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
