We are currently looking to add an Sterilization/Lab Technician to our growing office. A Lab/Sterilization technician’s priority is excellent patient care, customer service and cleanliness of all instruments/office. This job requires an outgoing, energetic personality with great multitasking skills. You help determine the patient’s overall experience in our office. Your job requires attention to detail and accuracy. You are executing the records, and sterilization of all instruments that the doctor relies on to provide a great treatment plan and care of each patient. It is crucial that you watch and listen to be proactive, perform the procedure correctly, and efficiently, and accurately. You are also the eyes and ears of the office, and support the team in ensuring the patient has a WOW experience start to finish.

Duties:
The clinical “floater” (lab and sterile technician) assists the clinical team with patient care. The clinical “floater” should be able to perform simple clinical procedures. Their responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, clearing and cleaning patient chairs, sterilizing instruments, building tray set ups, pouring up impressions, creating in-house retainers, getting lab work prepared to send out to labs, checking in appliances from labs, taking photos, uploading photos, taking x-rays, scanning, taking impressions, and placing separators.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED
- Radiology Certification
- Dental Assisting Certification
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Must have the right attitude to help the office grow and know how to ease the pressure on the clinical team
- Ability to step in when and wherever needed
- Be able to efficiently manage multiple tasks at once
RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):
- Clearing and replace proper barriers on patient chairs
- Instrument sterilization
- Tray set ups
- Strip models
- Create in-house retainers
- Use 3D Printer
- Make IDB trays
- Take patient photos and upload patient photos
- Take intraoral scan
- Take necessary x-rays
- Take impressions
- Pour up impressions
- Deliver in-house retainers to patient
- Place separators
JOB TYPE: Full Time (Monday-Thursday)
