Duties:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Assess patients' oral health and provide oral hygiene instructions
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic
- Educate patients on proper oral care techniques and preventive measures
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
Experience
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic
- Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures
We are a beautiful modern mountain office looking for a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team 2 to 4 days a week to make a positive impact on patients health.
