Job Summary
For our recently expanded flagship dental office located on the North End of Columbus (near the lovely affluent suburb or Westerville), we are currently looking for a dentist that is committed to Putting Patients First, looking for a full-time role with a better work/life balance or an opportunity to enhance your skills and experience, and alongside delivering quality dental care. In this role, you will provide all types of treatment, including root canals, extractions, implants, wisdom teeth, fillings, crowns, and general dentistry. You will work with modern and very high technologies, Including digital X-ray systems, CBCT, intraoral scanners, intraoral cameras, and a full dental lab. Also, you will have access to our dental lab with capabilities to fabricate crowns, bridges, implants, restorations, and even complete dentures. You will work in the same office as the office's owner, Dr Irfan Khan.
Skills/ Abilities
· Examine patients to determine the nature of the condition affecting the patient, utilizing x-rays, dental instruments, and other diagnostic procedures.
· Provide exceptional comprehensive patient care with an excellent chair-side manner.
· Provide treatment to manage and/or eliminate dental disease, restore tooth function and aesthetics, and prevent future illness and/or decay.
· Comprehensive documentation of patient visit, including but not limited to patient consent, medical history review, occlusion assessment, periodontal assessment, and complete patient notes by the end of the day.
· Educate the patients and address their questions and/or concerns to help them feel more comfortable.
· Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance, follow safety policies and procedures through OSHA compliance and BBP (Blood-borne Pathogens)
· Collaborate and lead the practice with morning huddles for proper patient flow and comprehensive care.
· Work effectively and calmly in a busy work environment.
· Follow all rules and regulations of the state of Ohio's dental practice act and all state and federal laws.
Required qualification
· Must be a DDS or DMD from an Accredited Dental School
· 2 years experience or at least 1 year of General Practice Residency (GPR)
· Current dental license issued by state where practicing
Benefits
· Possible $250,000 per year for a well-rounded, experienced dentist
· Compensation close to $400,000 per year (Within two years)
