Dental Office Manager – Fort Wayne, IN

Lakewood Family Dental is seeking a proven Dental Office Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Fort Wayne practice. This role is ideal for an experienced dental office manager who is confident managing both administrative and clinical teams, partnering closely with doctors, and maintaining a professional, compliant, and patient-focused office.
This is not an entry-level role. We are specifically seeking candidates with at least 3 years of dental office management experience who are comfortable owning operations, leading people, and holding high standards.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and manage administrative and clinical team members
- Partner with doctors to align on schedules, priorities, and performance
- Run daily huddles and ensure clear team communication
- Oversee scheduling, patient flow, and treatment plan follow-through
- Ensure a positive, professional patient experience
- Manage insurance processes, claims, EOBs, posting, and collections
- Monitor accounts receivable and control overtime
- Ensure accurate end-of-day closeouts and daily deposits
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and office policies
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of dental office management experience (required)
- Experience managing both clinical and administrative dental staff
- Strong knowledge of dental scheduling and insurance processes
- Professional, confident communication and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize, hold standards, and problem-solve independently
Preferred
- Dentrix experience
- Medicaid experience
- Multi-provider practice experience

Important
Applicants must have prior dental office management experience. Candidates without direct dental office management experience will not be considered.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
