Exciting opportunity for a candidate to be part of a established private dental practice located in Vacaville, California. Ideally, this candidate has some experience in the front office of a dental practice. We are looking for the right person to compliment our existing team members and patients. Our office is focused on providing a superior patient experience from beginning to end.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills are required for this position. Must be comfortable greeting patients, engaging in conversations, and overall making patients feel welcome.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written skills
- Excellent typing skills along with basic computer knowledge is a must
- Be comfortable with the collections process
- Self motivated and willing to go above and beyond to get a task done
- Knowledge of Open Dental or similar dental software
- Knowledge of dental insurance including benefits and eligibility
- Dental Front Office Experience: 1-3 years (Preferred)
- Dependable and can keep busy
Responsibilities
- The primary point of contact for patients. Greeting patients warmly, answering phone calls enthusiastically, treatment plan presentations and collecting payments from patients are all essential job functions.
- Schedule new and follow-up appointments including obtaining confirmations.
- Liaison with the back office staff to ensure smooth transition throughout the patient experience.
- Creating treatment plans and presentations, obtaining agreements to start treatment.
- Checking patients IN and OUT including collecting payment.
- Completion of daily administrative tasks.
- Overseeing outsourced functions and third party service providers
- Commitment to help the business evolve and continue to grow
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
