We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Dental Office Manager/Treatment Coordinator to lead our dental practice operations and enhance patient care experiences. The ideal candidate will possess extensive medical office management expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of dental and healthcare administrative systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily clinic functions, coordinate treatment plans, and ensure the delivery of outstanding patient service within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

Manage the overall operations of the dental office, including staff supervision, scheduling, and workflow optimization to ensure efficient clinic performance.
Coordinate patient treatment plans by explaining procedures, financial options, and insurance coverage clearly and professionally.
Oversee billing, coding, and financial management processes utilizing systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks to maintain accurate records and optimize revenue cycles.
Supervise human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and compliance with employment laws and HIPAA regulations.
Ensure adherence to healthcare standards such as JCAHO accreditation requirements and maintain compliance with all federal and state regulations governing medical records, privacy (HIPAA), and safety protocols.
Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth operations in both dental and medical aspects of patient care, including managing EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems.
Monitor budgeting activities, control expenses, and implement fiscal strategies to support sustainable practice growth.
Lead quality improvement initiatives focusing on patient satisfaction, clinical efficiency, and safety standards in a healthcare management setting.

Requirements

Proven experience in medical or dental office management with a strong background in healthcare administration systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Demonstrated supervisory experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams within a clinical environment.
Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, billing practices, and insurance procedures including managed care.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations, medical compliance standards such as JCAHO accreditation requirements, and healthcare best practices.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Background in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation within a healthcare context.
