Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Treatment Coordinator/Office Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in streamlining office operations and enhancing patient care. This energetic position combines administrative leadership with clinical coordination, ensuring our practice runs smoothly while delivering exceptional service. You will oversee daily office functions, manage patient interactions, and support clinical staff—all while fostering a welcoming environment that promotes efficiency and excellence.

Duties

Coordinate patient treatment plans by collaborating with healthcare providers and ensuring timely communication of care instructions.
Manage the front office operations, including scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and maintaining accurate medical / dental records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems such as open dental , Dentrix.
Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance on medical administrative support, human resources functions, and office procedures to promote a cohesive team environment.
Oversee fiscal management responsibilities such as budgeting, billing processes, and financial management to ensure practice profitability and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Monitor clinic operations to ensure adherence to healthcare standards like JCAHO accreditation and OSHA requirements while maintaining a safe environment for staff and patients.
Implement and manage practice management strategies including utilization management, managed care protocols, and medical records organization.
Support clinical staff with medical terminology clarification, medical office management tasks, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA privacy standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare administration within a dental or medical clinic setting.
Strong supervisory skills with experience managing teams in fast-paced environments.
Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as open dental Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Epic, or eClinicalWorks; familiarity with hospital or acute care systems is a plus.
Knowledge of fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and billing procedures.
Excellent understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare regulations.
Background in nursing or clinical support roles is advantageous; experience in dental office or veterinary settings is also valued.
