Duties
- Provide comprehensive general dentistry services, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions
- Perform oral surgeries such as dental extractions and other minor surgical procedures with precision and care
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on dental and medical histories
- Utilize advanced dental technology and imaging tools to diagnose conditions accurately and develop effective treatment strategies
- Collaborate with team members using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort
- Maintain thorough medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and practice standards
- Educate patients on oral health best practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions
Skills
- Proficiency with dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, charting, and documentation
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques
- Experience with pediatric dentistry, including working with children in a compassionate manner
- Skilled in performing dental procedures such as root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and dental fabrication
- Ability to interpret medical imaging and understand medical terminology for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on assessment, communication, and building trustful relationships
- Familiarity with medical records management and adherence to infection control standards in a clinical setting
