We are seeking an energetic Dental Office Manager/Treatment Coordinator to oversee daily operations in our dental practice in Eastchester, New York. This role combines office management, treatment planning coordination, and teamwork to ensure a smooth, efficient, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental office operations, administrative support and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:

Greet patients and manage all aspects of patient intake, verifying insurance information.
Coordinate patient treatment plans, answer patient questions, financing options and scheduling follow up appointments.
Verify insurance benefits, process claims, handle billing, coding and insurance claims using EHR systems such as Open Dental or EagleSoft
Coordinate with insurance companies for authorization, benefit verification, and claims follow-up
Review and update patient records meticulously, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, JCAHO and other healthcare regulations and maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Support front desk operations by managing multi-line phone systems, scheduling appointments, and providing exceptional patient service with professional phone etiquette.
Treatment assistance: when necessary, assist with setup/ breakdown of operatories, and assist with patient treatment
Ensure lab cases are sent, picked up, and received.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years experience in dental office management
Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems like Open Dental, Eaglesoft or Dentrix
Familiarity with dental terminology, dental records management, HIPAA compliance
Excellent communication skills to coordinate treatment plans effectively with patients and staff
Proficiency in dental insurance billing, including claims, pre-authorizations, and verifications
Familiarity with credentialing processes for dental providers and insurances
Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; ability to navigate multiple software platforms efficiently.
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, medical records management, and clinic coordination.
Outstanding customer service skills paired with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities.

Part time position 2-3 days a week
