Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations within our dental office. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, and managing patient documentation with accuracy and efficiency. **AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF DENTAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar.
- Review and verify patient documentation for accuracy.
- Utilize software systems similar to Dentrix for patient management.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and other communications professionally.
- Assist with insurance verification and processing as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide support to medical staff by coordinating patient flow and assisting with administrative tasks as required.
Experience
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental terminology, including CDT coding, is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using electronic Patient Management Systems such as Dentrix.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
