We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and performing administrative tasks to ensure a smooth workflow in the dental office.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
- Record and update patient information in the electronic health record (EHR) system
- Manage inventory
- Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
- X-ray certification is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
