## About Us

Airway Health is an airway-focused dental practice in Austin, TX. We treat the structural cause of airway restriction, sequencing palatal expansion, myofunctional therapy, orthodontic movement, and soft-tissue treatment into a single coordinated plan instead of four separate referrals. The goal is structural resolution of what is driving a patient’s sleep and breathing problems, not symptom management.

Austin is running. Scottsdale is next.

## The Opportunity

This is not an associate seat, and it is not a practice you fund and figure out alone.

We are looking for an airway-focused orthodontist or general dentist to open and grow our Scottsdale location. You start part-time, treating patients we send you, and step into full-time as the schedule fills. We train you in what we have found to be effective, and there is a partnership in the location to work toward. It is earned on performance, not handed over at signing.

Good fit if you:

- Want a partnership you can earn rather than a ceiling you hit in year two
- Want to specialize in airway and sleep-focused dentistry rather than general or cosmetic ortho
- Would rather help open a location than inherit a mature one
- Are in the Scottsdale / Phoenix area, or open to relocating

## What Comes With You

Most “founding dentist” offers are a room and a wish. This one is not.

- *Patient flow.* Our Austin marketing engine already produces leads at volume. The same ad accounts, funnels, and intake systems get pointed at Phoenix. You are not buying your own ads or waiting on word of mouth.
- *Front office and coordination.* Lead follow-up, consult booking, and patient coordination run on our existing operations team and systems, not on you.
- *Training in Austin.* We fly you out and train you in the operatory on what we have found to be effective: diagnosis, treatment planning, appliance work, and case presentation. Real cases, not slides.
- *Ongoing clinical backup.* Direct access to our clinical leadership on your cases.

Your job is to treat patients well and set the clinical standard. Ours is to fill the chair and run the back end.

## What You’ll Do

- Deliver airway-focused orthodontic and dental care using our treatment approach (MASPE, myofunctional therapy coordination, expansion with clear aligners)
- Place micro-implants for bone-anchored palatal expansion
- Run structural and functional airway assessments (ASIS scoring, CBCT-based evaluation) and build individual treatment plans
- Carry patients through the full treatment pathway, from diagnosis to a stable airway
- Work alongside myofunctional therapy and support staff on multi-disciplinary cases
- Set clinical operations, culture, and patient experience standards for the Scottsdale location
- Work with practice leadership on how the clinic grows

## What We’re Looking For

- DDS or DMD. Orthodontic specialty training is a plus, not a requirement. We weigh airway interest and willingness to train above a traditional ortho background
- Active or eligible Arizona dental license
- *Implant placement experience, required.* Our expansion protocol is micro-implant anchored, so you need to be comfortable placing and torquing palatal TADs
- Real interest in airway, sleep, and breathing-focused dentistry. Prior expansion, myofunctional, or sleep dentistry experience is a plus, not a prerequisite
- Available to travel to Austin for in-person training, on us
- Coachable. We will train you in our approach, and you have to be willing to run it the way we run it before changing it
- Comfortable with the pace of a new location. Early weeks are lighter, and the schedule builds
- Strong communicator who can build patient trust around a treatment philosophy most people have not heard of

## Compensation

Guaranteed day rate

- *$800 to $1,800 per clinical day*, depending on credential and experience. General dentists start toward the lower end, board-certified orthodontists toward the upper
- *Half days at $450 to $1,000*, same basis

Full-time transition happens at a defined patient volume, agreed in writing before you start. Partnership terms in the Scottsdale location are defined at offer stage.
