Track assigned work, follow scheduling priorities, and communicate potential delays early.
Perform routine scanner calibration, equipment care, and basic troubleshooting according to established procedures.
Check completed work for accuracy and completeness before handing it to the next department.
Use available time to prepare upcoming cases and identify issues that could delay production.

Qualifications

Comfortable using computers, navigating software, and managing files.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to check your own work.
Able to follow written instructions and apply feedback consistently.
Organized and able to keep track of multiple cases and priorities.
Comfortable handling small parts and performing precise, repetitive tasks.
Able to communicate questions and problems clearly.
Willing to learn unfamiliar terminology, software, and production techniques.
Able to build speed while maintaining quality.

Experience with dental work, manufacturing, or other detailed technical work is helpful but not required.

Training and performance expectations

Training follows a structured 90-day progression:

By day 30: Demonstrate accurate case entry, basic dental terminology, reliable case organization, routine software navigation, and clear communication.
By day 60: Complete routine scanning work with limited assistance, identify missing or relevant case information, follow scheduling procedures, and perform routine calibration and equipment care.
By day 90: Manage an assigned scanning queue with appropriate independence, meet established production benchmarks, consistently deliver complete and accurate scans, and prepare upcoming work according to scheduling priorities.

Success is measured by accuracy, usable work, schedule adherence, organization, and increasing independence. Employees are expected to recognize when a case requires additional guidance and seek help before an avoidable error moves downstream.
