Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visit. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient assessment, and the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy for patients.
Conduct patient assessments to evaluate oral health and identify any potential issues.
Utilize medical imaging systems to capture diagnostic images as needed.
Assist the dentist during procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatment plans and progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Review patient records and documentation to ensure all information is up-to-date and accurate.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Provide support in pediatric dentistry as required, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients.

Skills

Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques.
Strong background in general dentistry practices.
Familiarity with medical imaging systems and documentation review processes.
Ability to assist effectively in various dental procedures.
Excellent patient assessment skills to identify oral health needs.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles for treating younger patients.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software systems is preferred.

Pay: $45.00 - $46.00 per hour
