Dental Receptionist/Sterilization Technician – Position Overview
We are currently seeking a dependable and organized Dental Receptionist/Sterilization Technician to join our front office team. The Dental Receptionist/Sterilization Technician is a key part of daily operations and serves as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. This role is ideal for a strong multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced dental office setting.

Dental Receptionist Responsibilities

Greet patients and manage front desk operations in a professional and friendly manner
Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and manage the dental appointment calendar
Perform patient check-in and check-out while maintaining accurate records
Process dental insurance information, verify benefits, and assist with insurance claims and billing
Maintain patient charts and ensure HIPAA compliance
Coordinate with clinical staff to support smooth patient flow
Handle general administrative and reception duties as needed

Sterilization Technician Responsibilities

Sterilize dental instruments
Clean and set up doctor and hygiene rooms
Seat patients

Dental Receptionist Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and stay organized
Comfort working with computer systems, electronic health records (EHR), and dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar preferred)
Dental office, front desk, or dental assisting experience is preferred but not required
