We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced dental office environment. The Dental Receptionist will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process.
Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar efficiently.
Handle phone systems, ensuring clear communication with patients and staff.
Verify insurance information.
Review documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness of patient records.
Maintain health information management practices in compliance with regulations.
Utilize computerized systems, including Eaglesoft, for patient management.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the dental team.

Skills

Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred.
Proficient in insurance verification.
Strong understanding of phone etiquette to communicate effectively with patients.
Familiarity with documentation review processes and health information management.
Ability to navigate computerized systems efficiently, particularly Eaglesoft.
Knowledge of ADA coding is a plus but not required.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and staff.
