Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented Dental Office Receptionist to join our team full-time. While prior dental office experience is preferred, we are happy to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong communication skills, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

This role is essential in ensuring our patients feel welcomed and supported from the moment they walk in the door. You will assist with front desk operations, patient scheduling, insurance coordination, and administrative support to keep our practice running smoothly.

Work Schedule

Monday & Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday & Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Saturday availability required)

Key Responsibilities

Greet patients with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression
Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and confirm appointments
Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently
Assist with insurance verification and coordination
Process payments and explain treatment plans as needed
Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area
Support the dental team with additional administrative tasks as required

Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
Excellent customer service and patient care abilities
Ability to multitask and remain detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with computers; knowledge of Dentrix software is a plus
Prior dental office experience preferred but not required (willing to train)
High school diploma or equivalent required
