We are a well-established, high-quality dental practice in the heart of New York City, seeking a seasoned Dental Office Manager with proven success in renegotiating insurance fees and elevating team performance.

This is not an entry-level role — we are looking for a confident, strategic leader who understands the business side of dentistry inside and out, and can deliver measurable results.

What You’ll Do

Renegotiate PPO fee schedules with insurance companies to ensure optimal reimbursement rates and increased profitability.
Evaluate existing insurance participation and identify opportunities to improve revenue.
Train and mentor current front desk, billing, and scheduling staff to operate at peak efficiency.
Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, collections, patient relations, and compliance.
Implement systems and KPIs to track financial and operational performance.
Lead HR and talent acquisition efforts — leverage your strong network in the dental community to source, recruit, and retain top-performing clinical and administrative team members.
Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and patient-first service.

What We’re Looking For

5+ years experience as a dental office manager in a busy NYC practice.
Demonstrated success in PPO contract negotiations with documented results.
Strong knowledge of dental billing, coding, and insurance claims management.
Strong fiscal management skills with experience in budgeting and financial oversight.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, coach, and inspire a team.
Organized, proactive, and solutions-focused.
Tech-savvy (Dentrix, Zocdoc, DI, or similar software).
