Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Office Manager, where you will lead the daily operations of a busy dental practice with enthusiasm and energy. This pivotal role combines administrative expertise with clinical understanding to ensure smooth practice management, exceptional patient care, and efficient team coordination. As a key leader, you will oversee and lead team of about 10 (hygienists, assistants, front office staff), work closely with owner dentist to grow the practice, financial processes, staff supervision, compliance standards, and patient relations, fostering a positive environment that promotes growth and excellence in dental healthcare delivery.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of clinic operations, including treatment plan presentations and follow up, scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination to maximize efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Supervise administrative staff and clinical team members, providing guidance on performance evaluations, and professional development
- Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations including OSHA requirements, and state-specific licensing laws
- Coordinate with insurance coordinator team for managing insurance dental care plans and verify patient insurance benefits
Requirements
- Proficiency and proven experience in dental practice management software (Eagle Soft proficiency a must)
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading administrative or clinical teams in a dental office setting
- Leadership that's growth-oriented, team driven and patient focused, while eager to learn new management skills through ongoing training
- Strong in training, hiring and fostering a positive culture
- Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial reporting, and revenue cycle management
- Aligns closely with the owner dentist's vision, translating goals into action and ensuring smooth, well structured daily operations
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with staff, patients, insurance companies, and vendors
- Skilled in presenting and following treatment plans and patient care
