The Role
You'll be the operational heart of Nu Smiles. Two days a week you're on-site running the show — keeping the schedule tight, the team on track, and patients feeling welcomed. The other two days you work remotely handling insurance claims, billing follow-ups, and scheduling.
What You'll Do
- Own the daily schedule — maximize production, protect emergency slots, minimize gaps
- Verify benefits and submit clean claims with correct CDT codes
- Follow up on denials, post payments, reconcile EOBs
- Supervise dental assistants and front desk staff
- Handle end-of-day reconciliation and daily summary report to the doctor
- Be the warm, bilingual face of the practice — in person and on the phone
- Help patients navigate payment options (CareCredit, Sunbit, Denefits)
Must Have
- Bilingual English/Spanish — firm requirement
- 2+ years dental office management experience
- Knowledge of dental insurance billing and CDT codes
- Experience with Dentrix and Open Dental
- Ability to work independently without on-site supervision
Big Plus
- Medicaid dental billing experience (MCNA, DentaQuest)
- Familiarity with Mesquite/Dallas payer landscape
- Experience in hybrid or remote office environments
