Are you an experienced, compassionate Dental Assistant looking to join a welcoming and close-knit team? Our small, two-doctor dental practice is looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant to help us deliver exceptional patient care in a comfortable and friendly environment. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our dental team.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and surgeries.
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate dental records and patient histories in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Manage infection control protocols, including sterilization of instruments and aseptic techniques.
- Utilize dental software such as CareStack for scheduling appointments and managing patient information.
- Monitor and record vital signs as necessary during patient visits.
- Assist with prosthodontics procedures by preparing materials and providing chair-side support.
- Perform administrative duties as required, including managing medical records and handling patient inquiries.
