Office Manager needed for Midtown Dental Office

We are looking to hire an office manager for our Midtown Manhattan Dental Office. It is a small but productive office. We value customer service and patient care first. Looking for a friendly, kind, honest, team player who is willing to grow with the office.

We use Dentrix software and Dexis imaging.

The duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: answering the phone, scheduling patients, calculating and collecting copays, doing billing, collecting patient balances, insurance verification and breakdowns, entering payments from patients and insurances, helping with collection reports for the associates, helping to manage our zocdoc account, getting recall patients back in, help with light marketing and promotions, aging reports, other office reports. We are looking for someone 4-5 days a week. Possibly also saturdays once or twice a month.

Prior experience in a dental office required. Must have good communication skills and customer service skills, be a team player, be friendly and be detailed oriented. Have a comprehensive understanding of dental insurance. Must be able to anticipate the needs of the office and take initiative to make sure things get done, the schedule is prepared.If interested, please email your resume.
